This is a facinating time of the year at Great Glen as the flowers are starting that wonderful cycle of change. Painted Trillium and it's cousin Stinking Benjamin are all over. Lady Slippers are coming out and a couple of Jack-in-the-Pulpits have been spotted.]]>

The Spring Trail Running and Walking Series held on Thursdays is a great time to try out Nordic Walking. We'll be running and walking each Thursday for the next 5 weeks, come on out and join us. Nordic Walking sessions are also held on Saturdays at 10 am.]]>

Trail Run and Relay was held here Sunday (6-25-06). 71 racers individually or on teams battled the 15 kilometer course and had a great time. (Not too many black flies). Can't wait to see you again next year! <![CDATA[A new Cadiddlehopper takes shape]]>
One of the improvements going on at GGT this summer is the replacement of the yurt at Cadiddlehopper Station.  We'll be doing another building recycle as we move the very old former info booth to it's new location to take the place of the yurt.  While somewhat smaller, it will be  much more efficiently heated in winter when it plays the role of warming hut for the tubing hill.]]>

We can take your group out for a day on the river that you'll be talking about for months. On one of our 1/2 day trip yesterday we saw a bull moose, two eagles, a black bear and a Great Blue Heron.  We'll post a photo of the eagle in a couple of days.
