A World Apart
How did I get here?
Well, the answer to that question is simple: we drove 17 hours.
Over Thanksgiving, D and I drove to North Carolina to visit her parents. Things are different in North Carolina.
While Howie was back at the ranch firing up the snowmaking system, I was playing golf in 75 degree weather.
I wore shorts two of the four days we were there.
We ran a Turkey Trot that featured an all you can eat breakfast following the race. They had grits.
Even while all this was going on, I was still thinking that I need to get my skis ready for the season. Maybe I'm different...don't answer that.

If it's group therapy, why am I always left in the dust?
Great Glen Trails has a micro-hydro generation station on site that supplies about 20% of our electrical needs.
