Where are we?

(More blog entries from ryan)

Staff is here, there and everywhere!

Sometimes as summer marches on, we disappear from time to time. That has certainly been the case with our blog. We've been so busy getting out, we forgot to tell you what we've been up to. And, the fact of the matter is, we've been up to a lot.

Sue has been paddling on the ocean quite a bit with teen groups with the Appalachian Mountain Club. Nate has been on every body of water in northern New England guided a ton of whitewater trips and a lot of flat water, too. Ben, Anders and Eric, our kayak musketeers have been guiding full and half day flat water trips every day. And, don't forget about the mountain bike camps. Meg has been leading kids through the tracks and trails across New Hampshire. Meanwhile, Chris and Eli have been holding down the fort renting bikes and helping kids up the climbing wall. Like I said, we've been up to a lot.

Personally, I've been on the trails quite a bit. Running has consumed most of my free time this summer with a fair amount of hiking sprinkled in for good measure. And while the weather hasn't been perfect, it's always good to get outside. Here are a couple photos from my summer, and hopefully, I'll take more soon.

Crazy Moose Draw was named when John Frado, the trail designer, had a very close encounter with a very mad moose.
