The Big Breakfast
YUM!
Mmmmmm...
I love the big breakfast. Eggs, homefries, pancakes, coffee, sausage...load me up!D and I hit a diner the other day for a big breakfast. You just can beat the big breakfast. It's the prefect meal. It sets you up for the rest of the day, and gives you two great choices:
1. "I can't possibly do anything active or even move , since I had a big breakfast." or 2. "Since I had such a big breakfast, I need to get out and work that off."
Both are perfect options. On this day we chose option #2 and went for a long trail run. But not until we'd digested a bit, of course. It was almost dark.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of my actual breakfast. But, that one's pretty close. Swap the french toast for panckaes and the eggs have to be scrambled. Add homefries with tons of veggies and cheese...and toast...

Ok, if you really like big breakfasts then you have to get over to the Deluxe Diner in Rumford, ME. That's right, Rumfud'! Sue and I have made the trip over from Randolph, NH just to eat breakfast, it's that good. The homefries and blueberry pancakes can't be beat. I sense a road trip in my future, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Everything is perfect from the building and the help to the menu. I think it's on Oxford St off Rt 2 as you're skirting by the downtown area.
