Opening Day

(More blog entries from ryan)

It's here!

Saturday morning at 8:00a.m. the Road will be open to treeline.

Be sure to thank the Road Crew, when you see them. They've been working hard to get the Road clear for this day.

Everything is ready to roll. See you tomorrow!

When is the summit?

Good question. The crews are going to keep working to get the Road clear, but it is all based on the weather. We're hoping to be clear to the summit in the next couple weeks. Please keep checking back as we'll have updates for you as we keep moving up the mountain.

Any news on whether or not the road is opened to the summit? Me and a few friends were thinking of heading up from Worcester, MA this week, wondering if we'll have to make another trip at the end of the summer to actually get all the way to the summit.

Good progress moivng up the mountain, but still a lot more to go. Tom - Treeline is about 4.5 miles from the base, with another 3+ miles above that point to the summit.

We will be (and are currently) open daily once we reach the summit. Weather and road conditions permitting, of course.
