There’s a Black Fly in My Eye at Great Glen Trails

(More news)

Pinkham Notch, NH—On Saturday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m., Great Glen Trails hosts There’s a Black Fly in My Eye 15K Trail Race & Relay—insect repellant is not included.

There’s a Black Fly in My Eye is a 15K trail running race made up of three distinct loops on the Great Glen Trails trail system that throws everything but the kitchen sink at the competitors: carriage roads, single track, roots, rocks, steep climbs and a river crossing.

After last year’s race one competitor said, “That was harder than the Mt. Washington Road Race!”

Competitors may race solo or in teams of two or three. T-shirts are available for the first 100 competitors to register. Registration fee includes a post race barbeque for all competitors.

Volunteers are still needed for timing and course marshals. For more information or to register, click here.
