Fall Trail Running Series Set to Begin at Great Glen Trails

Pinkham Notch, NH—The Fall Running Series at Great Glen Trails begins on Thursday, September 4 at 3:30p.m. The series runs every Thursday until October 9. Competitors may run or walk the course between 3:30 and 6:30p.m.

The Fall Trail Running Series is truly a series for all ages and abilities with three courses each of varying length and difficulty. It’s a great way for the entire family to spend the afternoon. The series features a mini course that is perfect for children ages 5 and under. For those a little older or for adults looking to try trail running for the first time, the short course, usually around 2 miles, offers just the right amount of challenge and fun. For trail running veterans, the long course, approximately 3 miles, features a mix of single-track, carriage roads and hills—everything a trail runner could want. Not up for a run? Come out and walk. Walking divisions offered for all ages and courses.

Competitors who complete four out of six weeks will be eligible for the prize raffle held in conjunction with the awards party and potluck barbecue on the last night of the series. Prizes also awarded to the top three in each division.

Cost for the series is $35 for adults and $10 for kids (ages 17 & under.)
