Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center Open for the Season

Pinkham Notch, NH—Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center opened for its thirteenth season of Nordic skiing at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9.

With the addition of five inches of natural snow this week, Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center was able to open thanks to snowmaking. Great Glen Trails is one of the few Nordic ski areas in New England to utilize this technology.

“We’re extremely excited for opening day,” said Howie Wemyss General Manager of Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center. “All the credit goes to our snowmaking team. They’ve been putting in a round-the-clock effort to get us open. Hopefully, they’re not too tired to ski today!”
