Winter Feels Good at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center

Pinkham Notch, NH—As part of the nationwide program, Winter Feels Good, Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center will offer free cross country skiing and snowshoeing to first timers on Saturday, January 6, 2007 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Great Glen Trails Outdoor offers free trail passes, rentals and half hour clinics to first time cross country skiers. Clinics are available every half hour on a first come first serve basis. For first time snowshoers, free trail passes and rentals are available. First timers need to mention Winter Feels Good to take advantage of the offer.

Winter Feels Good is SnowSports Industries America’s national awareness campaign to educate the public about the health, fitness and social benefits of snow sports. Now entering its fourth year, Winter Feels Good serves as a resource for learning and enjoying winter snow sports as part of a healthy lifestyle. This one-day event is geared toward families, hikers and fitness walkers, recreational enthusiasts, school groups and youth organizations who are interested in learning more about the sports of cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
