Flatwater Paddling
The Androscoggin River provides Great Glen Trails with a beautiful setting for full and half day river trips. Participants can choose either a canoe or a kayak. The pace is leisurely allowing plenty of time for wildlife viewing, which often includes bald eagles, moose, osprey and other wildlife. All trips are designed for first time paddlers and experts alike.
Full Day: The most popular trip. Time is allowed for swimming, relaxing and bird watching. The name of the game is fun. Trip runs from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. ADULT: $85 / JUNIOR (5-12): $55
Half Day: Our half-day trip is a great first step into river exploration. “The trip was so relaxing that I didn’t want to go home,” said one past participant. Morning tours run 8:00 am to 12:30 pm; afternoon tours run 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. ADULT: $65 / JUNIOR (5-12): $45
