On Thursday, September 2, the Salomon Fall Trail Running Series presented by Smartwool begins at Great Glen Trails. The series runs for six weeks through October 7, and runners and walkers can log their time between 3:30pm and 6:30pm.
Clear skies, great course conditions and awesome mountain bike riding made up a terrific weekend at the 15th Annual 24 Hours of Great Glen hosted by Great Glen Trails. Close to 500 mountain bikers raced this year.

On Saturday, March 6, Great Glen Trails will host the final Family Snow Day of the 2009/2010 winter season. Just like the first two days, this Family Snow Day is a low-key, fun-filled day full of on snow activities that the entire family can enjoy together.
On Sunday, March 7, 2010, Great Glen Trails will host Ski to the Clouds presented by Maxiglide with $1400 in cash prizes up for grabs. Ski to the Clouds features a 6-kilometer climb up Mt. Washington making it North America’s Toughest 10k.

On Tuesday, January 5, 2010, Nordic Meisters, the largest weekly cross country race series in the United States, begins its fifteenth season at Great Glen Trails. Racers will compete for more than $5,000 in prizes. The series will also feature a snowshoe division in 2010.
On Saturday and Sunday, January 16 and 17, 2010, Great Glen Trails will host Women’s Winter Escape, a weekend getaway for women designed to provide relaxation and fun on the snow.
On Saturday, December 12, 2009, Great Glen Trails hosted the Atomic Sprints at Great Glen, the first cross country ski race in New Hampshire this season. Skiers from Bates College took first place in both the men’s and women’s divisions. More than $1,000 in prizes were award to the top skiers.

Great Glen Trails will open the 2009/2010 winter season on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing will be available on 28 kilometers.
For three weeks in December, Great Glen Trails will host the Nordic Warm Up—a fitness program designed to get cross country skiers ready for the season. The Nordic Warm Up will be held on Tuesdays, December 8, 15 and 22 at 10:00am.
On Saturday, November 28, Great Glen Trails will host its annual craft fair from 9:00 – 3:00pm. The Great Glen Craft Fair will feature more than 30 crafters, live demonstrations and a raffle and bake sale to benefit the Great Glen Bill Koch Club.
