The end is in sight

10/20/08 - The end of the 2008 operating season for the Auto Road seems to be in sight.  As of yesterday, our last guided tour has gone up, the Glen View Cafe and retail shops are closed and the Sherman Adams summit building is closed.  The Auto Road remains open for private cars to drive up but is very weather dependant as always.  We will be trying to operate through Oct 26 but will conclude the season if the predicted snow and ice hit the summit this week.  We hope to see you here this winter to join us on a SnowCoach ride to treeline!

Due to snow at the base of the Auto Road as well as drifting snow on thew Auto Road today, we are now closed for the summer season. See you this winter!
