What is your heaven?
not to be irreverent but . . .
Last Wednesday we got 31" of snow at Great Glen. A few days later the wind died down and I got out one morning before work for a ski on the freshly groomed trails. Firm, deep, packed powder tracks, with blue kick wax giving perfect kick and wonderful glide. Corduroy packed powder, easy to edge in and to ride one ski on, in long skating glides. Temperatures moderate, the Presidential Mountains mighty and white surging up into blue sky. Feeling healthy, energetic, coordinated. This, this is my heaven. What's yours?
