Great Glen Trails Set to Begin Summer Season
(More news)Pinkham Notch, NH—Great Glen Trails will open for summer operations on Thursday, May 15 for biking, trail running, Nordic walking and bird watching. The Salomon & Smartwool Spring Trail Running Series also kicks off on Thursday.
Early season hours are in effect: Thursday through Sunday from 10:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. Daily operations will begin Memorial Day weekend.
A great family destination, Great Glen Trails offers gentle carriage roads for biking and a full service rental shop with trailers and trail-a-bikes for the little ones.
The Salomon & Smartwool Spring Trail Running Series is an 8-week series held every Thursday from May 15 through July 3 from 3:30p.m. – 7:00p.m. Competitors can challenge themselves on either a 2.5km or 5km course in either the running or walking divisions. Prizes are awarded to the top three in each category, and the series wraps up with an awards party and prize raffle. Competitors that compete in 6 of the 8 weeks are qualified for the raffle. The cost for kids, ages 17 & under, is just $10 for the entire series. Adult price is $45. Complete details here.
