Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center and Androscoggin Valley Bill Koch Youth Ski League Host Christmas on Snow

Pinkham Notch, NH—Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center and the Androscoggin Valley Bill Koch Youth Ski League host Christmas on Snow on Saturday, December 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Christmas on Snow is a daylong celebration for kids filled with fun holiday activities on snow at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center.

“Christmas on Snow is a great event for families, and we hope to see lots of kids enjoying the snow this weekend,” said Mary Power, Events Director at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center.

Christmas on Snow Schedule

• Trim the Tree: Create an ornament and ski it out to the Great Glen Trails Christmas Tree.
• Snowman Building Contest: Prizes awarded for the best snowman.
• Reindeer Relay: Cross country ski race with teams of two at 1:00 p.m.
• Scavenger Hunt: Ski from clue to clue. Collect tokens to be redeemed for prizes.

The Bill Koch Youth Ski League is a nationwide cross country ski program for children ages 6-13. Named after 1976 Olympic silver medalist, Bill Koch, the mission statement of the Bill Koch Ski League is “to introduce young people to the lifelong sport of cross-country skiing, with it’s recreational, social, fitness and competitive opportunities.” Run by volunteers and parents, Bill Koch Youth Ski Leagues meet regularly throughout the winter to season to improve the health and fitness of children through cross country ski instruction, games and races.

The fee for Christmas on Snow is $2.00 for kids and adults with trail pass.
