What's the temperature?
Running makes me sweat.
So late yesterday afternoon, I went out for a run. It was pretty cool here in Pinkham Notch. At least it felt that way, when I walked out the door. I had on some running tights, a wicking tee and a lightweight shell. Figured that was about right for how it felt when I tested the temp about 1/2 hour before my run. I got pretty sweaty. In these "shoulder seasons" I always have a tough time hitting the sweet spot with my clothing. In the fall I always err on the side of too hot, and in the spring I always err on the side of too cold. It's been like that as long as I can remember. You'd think that by now I would have figured it out. But no, I was pretty soggy by the time I finished.
Maybe a vest would have been a better choice. Or maybe some regular tights would have worked. I think I have a sweet pair of tights. All black, with a wide purple stripe up the side. In the purple stripe was some reflective material is a funky pattern. Yup. Sweet. Then again, I used to wear them often circa 1994. Maybe that's why they were so sweet.

I saw Ryan running the other day. I'm glad he's running in the woods where no one can see him. He had on a bright orange top - looked like a pumpkin on stilts.
So did I but that's beside the point we're talking about Ryan here, don't change the subject.

Ah, but what you don't know is that pumpkins on stilts are extremely fit and irresistible to the ladies. Right, ladies?
