Snow and Foliage

It's beautiful but...

The foliage is still spectacular here in Pinkham Notch the weekend after Columbus Day.  Normally the colors are gone by now and very nearly were after the winds of last night.  Along with those winds came a front that dropped the temperature and delivered quite a bit of moisture in the form of snow and ice at the higher elevations.  Higher elevations in this case meant 2,500 feet and up so we have been operating with an abreviated offering so far today (Saturday).  We'll get back to the top with enough sand and warmer temperatures - maybe this afternoon (doubtful) or maybe tomorrow.  Come on up into the Notch and enjoy!
