The array of satellite receivers and transmitters set up at the base

They'll be covering cross country skiing in the Glen

Or.....maybe not.  The Good Morning America crew arrived at the Glen on Friday to head up the Mt Washington Auto Road to the summit for a Monday morning broadcast from the Mt Washington Observatory.  The Obs crew trucked them to the two mile point then transferred to the snow cat for the rest of the trip. This will be excellent publicity for the Obs and for the whole area as millions of viewers will see what the summit of Mt Washington is like in mid-November.  Seems like they've had some great weather variety over the weekend so far - now we'll see what Monday brings.  Tune in to GMA on ABC Monday morning from 7 - 9 am, they'll be doing the weather sections live from the summit as well as other taped pieces about life on the Rockpile.

I saw the coverage on GMA!!! It was awesome, and the pictures were gorgeous. What a beautiful morning!!! Many people will be inspired to come see it for themselves. We live in such a magical place. Aren't we lucky?

Haven't seen the clip yet, but I bet it was great. I was talking to one of the crew this weekend in the ski shop, and he is interested in coming up and doing some skiing! Good Morning America!
