The Waiting

Snowmaking takes patience

Waiting for the temperatures.
Waiting for the wind to die down.
Waiting to lay down enough snow.
Waiting for it to cure.
Waiting to groom it.
Waiting to ski.

I've had just about had enough of this. Snowmaking resumes tonight.

In the meantime, how about some Tom Petty?

I'm hoping Mr. Murphy takes an extended break and we don't see him here again until, oh maybe 2010.

Technically, it was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, but what did the Heartbreakers really bring to the table?

Not being able to take advantage of the snowmaking conditions post mid-night the other night was Heartbreaking. Ok, so it was a stretch - but this whole string is a stretch....
