Draggin' on Dragon

(More blog entries from ryan)

Susan makes short work of Dragon Corridor.

Look! Ryan got a new camera for Christmas!

Here's Susan putting the hurt to me early Saturday morning.

I think next time I'll bring a bungee cord.

Hoping to put together a few more of these over the winter season, so keep checking back.

Thanks -- I really enjoyed seeing one of my favorite runs on Youtube -- caught it there just after you posted it. I hope you do a lot more of these movies. Nothing shows what good conditions you have like a movie of someone skiing. What equipment are you using and how are you editing the movies? Conditions look great, if a bit soft from the new snow. Looked a bit slow too, was it wet snow on top? I'll be there in a couple of weeks, hold on to that snow!!

We had some "mechanically issues" with the Pisten Bully yesterday morning, so we were skiing in about 3" of fresh. It was slow, but very nice. As far as the technical question, it's a pocket Olyumpus digital camera, not really ideal for movies. As you can see, it's really hard to keep it steady because it's so small. But a heck of a lot easier to tote around. I'm editing in iMovie. Nothing fancy at all.
