Thoughts while not skiing the Great Glen Nordic 300.

On Sunday, as is customary, I was on photo duty during the Great Glen Nordic 300. While skiing around the course snapping photos and cheering for the racers, I have to admit that I was a bit jealous of them. What a cool event! Really. There was a significant part of me that wished I was out there racing, too.

Hats off to all the competitors, especially those who had never or barely ski raced before. Based on everyone I talked to, it seems like a great, positive attitude was a prerequsite for entering the race. Great job.

Ryan - Great choice of music. W/ the epic snow this winter, all the XC skiers look like studs! You guys are living the dream - this is vintage 1970's weather. Nothing like this in YEARS - live large!

Actually, I just picked the song because it fit the length of video. :) Not really, huge Son Volt fan, trying to convert the masses.
