Drive time's ride time

(More blog entries from marty)

Cycling commuters rock. Drive time means pedal time. I've seen engineers, copywriters, accountants and those who've failed roadside sobriety tests saddle up for the ride to work. That's the ticket for this 24 Hour thing. Incorporate the bike into everyday life. For those who telecommute like myself, I use it for errands as often as possible. There's the four mile post office loop  which I did today and the 12 mile errand loop which can fluctuate in mileage depending on the honey-do list She Who Rules My World has left me. Nothing like riding home with a gallon of milk  in the backpack. Good thing no lobster tonight.

Did I just read that Marty is going to ride the 24 Hour race with a live lobster and gallon of milk in his backpack?
