TD Bank Kids Ski Day

Not your typical day on skis!

Event is still on! Lots of non-snow activities planned for the day, but bring your skis, we may have some snow.

10:00am – 3:00pm

Come join us in the morning, afternoon or all day for winter fun! Games and an obstacle course on skis, Trails Tracker scavenger hunt, create a birdfeeding ornament, decorate a holiday cookie, and more! Mini-lessons will be offered in both morning and afternoon for first-time cross country skiers.

We’re excited to open up this event to skiers with physical disabilities. If you are an adaptive athlete please email Abby Weissman abby@nensa.net to make sure that we can reserve the proper equipment for you.

Trail Pass required for adults and children at a reduced rate of $5.
Activities and children’s rental equipment FREE.
Rentals for participating parent/guardians: $10.

2011 Schedule:
10:00-10:30: Registration, rental equipment pickup
10:20-10:40: First time skiers’ mini-lesson: how to put on equipment, snowplow and get up from a fall
10:45-11:45: Games on skis! (Red Light, Green Light; Sharks & Minnows; Capture the Flag; Ultimate Frisbee)
10:30-12:00: Create a birdfeeding ornament (indoors), then ski out to feeding tree.
12:00-12:30: Registration for afternoon arrivals, rental equipment pickup
12:20-12:40: First time skiers’ mini-lesson: how to put on equipment, snowplow and get up from a fall
12:45-1:45: Games on skis! (Red Light, Green Light; Sharks & Minnows; Capture the Flag; Ultimate Frisbee)
1:00-2:30: Decorate your own holiday cookie (indoors)
