The Recreation Group also receives instruction, working on basic skills and becoming more comfortable in varying terrain. Topics will include balance and maneuvering, gaining confidence and control on downhills, negotiating corners, making uphills easier, and more. Both classes are led by Great Glen’s Ski School Director and Olympian, Sue Wemyss. Participants should have some prior cross country skiing experience, have an interest in learning and improving, and have the desire to be part of a fun and supportive group.
First time and very novice skiers are encouraged to check into the Great Glen Ski School offerings, which include both group and private lessons.
